An element of strong attraction for runners from all over the world has always been the charm of running at night in a unique city in the world, wrapped in silence and accompanied by the soft water melody. 16 km in the historic center of the lagoon city, through calli and callette, up and down 51 bridges among the mystery and charm of Venice by night. This is the Venice Night Trail!
The departure is set at 21.00 from Venice Port Area. The route of the run: S.Marta, S.Basilio, Zattere, Punta della Dogana, Accademia, S.Stefano, S.Angelo, S.Maria del Giglio, Piazza San Marco, Riva degli Schiavoni, Giardini, S.Anna, Tana, Arsenale, SS.Giovanni e Paolo, Fondamente Nove, Misericordia, Madonna dell’Orto, S.Alvise, Coletti, Tre Archi, S.Giobbe, Crea, Calle Priuli, Railway station, Piazzale Roma, S.Chiara, Marittima, Port Area. The maximum time to complete the run is 3 hours and for safety reasons it is mandatory to participate wearing a headlamp.
From the organizational, spectacular and health safety point of view, the organizers ensure that the event will maintain the highest level.
