In collaboration with the “Musica con le ali” association, the “Sehnsucht” concert by the Duo Kainrath – Carroccia will be staged on 20 April 2023 in the Sale Apollinee of the La Fenice theater.
Violinist Julian Kainrath was born in 2005, studied at the University of Fine Arts in Graz in the class of Boris Kuschnir. In 2022 Julian won the ICMA Discovery Award, an acknowledgment that allowed him to perform with the Orchester Philarmonique du Luxembourg under the direction of Adam Fischer.
Pianist Luigi Carroccia, recognized as one of the most promising Italian pianists of his generation, is described by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram as a “piano aristocrat”. His lyrical and communicative interpretations have already attracted the attention of the international piano scene.
The duo’s concert program includes:
- Franz Schubert, Sonata in A major Op. post. 162 – D.574
- Ludwig van Beethoven, Sonata in A major No. 9, Op. 47 “A Kreutzer”
