“Wave” is a triptych made of different colored filigrees creating a sinuous decoration. This splendid combination is placed on three panels that form a single design. These colored waves made of precious Murano glass twist and turn creating a spontaneous and lively mix.

The filigree technique indicates a type of processing of transparent glass with inclusion of colored opaque glass. The process involves first preparing thin transparent glass rods, then inside these canes simple or twisted threads of milk or colored glass are incorporated. This process is particularly complex but achieves a decorative effect of great elegance.

This is the basis of a whole series of special processes, from “reticello” to “zanfirico”. When more rods are twisted together, particular shapes are obtained that look like embroideries inside the glass.

Each panel has full customization options in terms of dimensions and colors. With this versatility we can offer modular solutions for indoor decoration such as wall or surface coverings or for backlighting systems.
