The Venetian galleon was a sailing ship used during the Serenissima between 1500 and 1800 for military purposes and to transport goods and valuables. Today the galleon has been replicated according to the ships of the Serenissima, and is an ideal venue for events, parties, meetings and weddings.

“Galeon” is a sinuous wave-shaped sculpture dedicated to this magnificent sailing ship. The object is an original and modern mosaic with the use of opaque and transparent Murano glass. Depending on the decoration, gold leaf, silver leaf, Venetian murrina beads, aventurine glass are added to the composition.

The first step to create this sculpture is to compose the color sequence, then give the shape. The processing is done entirely by hand, cutting and joining together pieces of multicolored glass or opaque colored rods, and then firing the composition to form the sinuous sculpture.

Only the knowledge of the glass masters gives life to this object, bringing a Venetian touch to your home décor. The design is simply rich and elegant, and fits into any décor.
