The Sale Apollinee of the Teatro La Fenice is set to host an extraordinary concert, an “Oboe Recital” featuring the talented duo of Francesco Di Giacinto and Nicola Zampis on May 25, 2023. The concert is a collaboration with the cultural association “Musica con le ali“. The two artists will perform a selection of works for oboe and piano by composers such as Mozart, Pasculli, Britten, and others.

Francesco Di Giacinto is a prominent Italian oboist and an international soloist. He has played with various prestigious orchestras, such as the London Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonia Orchestra, and the Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. He has also worked with some of the world’s most renowned conductors, including Riccardo Muti, Daniel Barenboim, and Claudio Abbado.

Nicola Zampis is equally talented and sought after in the classical music scene. He has won several prestigious international piano competitions, including the World Piano Competition in London and the Piano Campus International Competition in Paris. He has also performed in some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls, such as the Salle Cortot in Paris and the Carnegie Hall in New York.
