In collaboration with “Musikàmera“, Michel Dalberto performs works by Fauré, Debussy, Ravel and Schubert in the Sale Apollinee of Teatro La Fenice on Feb. 22 and 23, 2023.
Born in Paris in 1955 into a French Dauphiné family of Piedmontese descent, Michel Dalberto established himself on the international music scene by winning First Prize at the Clara Haskil and Mozart competitions in Salzburg in 1975 and at the Leeds competition in 1978. A pupil of the great master Vlado Perlemuter at the Paris Conservatory, the artist is the only living pianist to have recorded all of Schubert’s piano works, of which he is one of the most highly regarded interpreters, as well as the works of Mozart, whose piano concertos he has performed.
The artist’s program includes:
- Gabriel Fauré, Ballade op. 19
- Claude Debussy, Images (2me livre)
- Maurice Ravel, Alborada del Gracioso
