On the occasion of the “Galuppi Festival” and in collaboration with the “Benedetto Marcello” Conservatory of Music in Venice, Mattias Antonio Glavinic and Maya Oganyan will be staged with works by Debussy, Chopin, Babajanjan, Skrjabin in the Sale Apollinee of La Fenice Theater on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
Italian-Croatian pianist Mattias Antonio Glavinic is 12 years old and lives in Jesolo, Italy. At the age of five he began studying piano with Prof. Eleonora Zanin and is currently studying with Prof. Gianluigi Polli. At the age of eight he passed the entrance exam for the pre-academic course cycle with a grade of ten with honors. At the age of nine, she passed the second year of the second cycle final exam the following year with a grade of ten with honors at the “Benedetto Marcello” conservatory in Venice.
Sixteen-year-old pianist Maya Oganyan was born in Moscow and has been living and studying in Venice since 2011. She began taking piano lessons at the age of 4 and for 2 years studied with Alexander Maykapar, a famous Russian harpsichordist, organist and pianist, composer of much music, author of numerous interpretation manuals and professor at the “Gnessin” Academy of Music. Despite the short period of his teaching, beyond the basics of piano, Maykapar manages to give Maya a very broad approach to classical music.
