With an exclusive double date, Monica Bellucci takes the stage at the Goldoni Theatre to bring to life the true story behind the legend of Callas: the woman and the artist, the heights of her planetary career marked by scandals and the many personal challenges.
The result is a deeply moving and fascinating portrait of the greatest voice of the twentieth century directed by director and author Tom Volf, who for his show has collected some unpublished texts from the diary of the immense singer.
On one side emerges the face of Maria, a vulnerable woman, divided between the stage and her private life, and on the other the face of Callas, an ambitious artist, in constant competition with herself and at war with her own voice which, despite the solitude of her last years in Paris, she continued to work tirelessly until her last breath.
