At Teatro Malibran, French-Canadian conductor Louis Lortie will conduct and perform works by Ludwig van Beethoven on June 4-5, 2022.

For more than three decades, pianist Louis Lortie has been performing around the world, building a reputation as one of the world’s most versatile pianists. He has extended his interpretive voice across a broad spectrum of repertoire, and his award-winning performances and recordings attest to his remarkable musical variety.

Louis Lortie’s program at Malibran Theatre includes:

  • Piano concerto in B-flat major No. 2, op. 19
  • Piano concerto No. 3, op. 37

Louis Lortie concerts have been canceled. In its place, conductor Marco Angiu with violinist Giovanni Andrea Zanon conducts concerts by Ludwig van Beethoven (Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 61 – Symphony No. 2 in D major, Op. 36).
