In collaboration with the musical association Musikàmera, renowned violinist Janine Jansen and pianist Sunwook Kim will perform a highly anticipated concert at La Fenice Opera House on Saturday, November 2, 2024.

The program for the evening will feature the masterpieces of Johannes Brahms and Clara Schumann, showcasing the profound connection between these two composers. The duo will perform:

  • Johannes Brahms, Sonata No. 1 in G major, op. 78
  • Johannes Brahms, Sonata No. 2 in A major, op. 100
  • Clara Schumann, Three Romances, op. 22
  • Johannes Brahms, Sonata No. 3 in D minor, op. 108

Janine Jansen, celebrated for her passionate and expressive performances, has established herself as one of the leading violinists of her generation. She performs regularly with the world’s top orchestras and conductors, and her artistry is marked by a captivating blend of technical mastery and deep emotional engagement. She has received numerous awards and is a regular performer at major international venues.

Sunwook Kim, a pianist of extraordinary skill, rose to prominence after winning the Leeds International Piano Competition in 2006 at the age of 18. Since then, he has built a reputation for his powerful and refined performances, collaborating with leading orchestras and conductors around the globe.
