With the aim of reviving the artistic-cultural tradition of the period of greatest splendor of the Serenissima Republic of Venice, the orchestra and singers of the ensemble “I Musici Veneziani” offer an annual classical-lyrical concert season of works from the 18th and 19th centuries.
The “I Musici Veneziani” ensemble owes its fame to the faithful and brilliant performance that makes each concert an unforgettable moment, whose performances, ennobled by the splendid period costumes and jewelry, are held in the marvelous Salone Capitolare of the Scuola Grande di San Teodoro, today the most prestigious private concert hall in Venice.
In addition to the Venice Carnival and New Year concerts, two performances are scheduled throughout the 2023 season:
- Baroque and Opera, orchestra and singers perform the most beautiful arias from the Baroque tradition and great opera by Verdi and Puccini
- Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, 4 concertos for violin and strings representing scenes of nature in music, each inspired by each season of the year.
A unique and magical atmosphere, attending a performance of “I Musici Veneziani” is an immersive experience.
