On March 23, 2025, in collaboration with the musical association Musikàmera, the Ensemble 400 will perform a special concert in the Sale Apollinee of La Fenice Opera House, honoring the 700th anniversary of Francesco Landini’s birth. This unique program pays tribute to one of the most celebrated composers of the Trecento and explores the rich tapestry of medieval music.
The concert features works by Francesco Landini, a master of the Italian Ars Nova, such as Here is Spring, Adiu adiu, The blond tresses, and This girl love, alongside stirring medieval compositions by other iconic figures:
