Cremona Quartet

In collaboration with the “Archivio Musicale Guido Alberto Fano Onlus” association, the Cremona Quartet will be staged on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, in the Sale Apollinee of Teatro La Fenice.

The Quartet was founded in 2000 within the Stauffer Academy in Cremona. The ensemble then perfected its skills with Piero Farulli of the Quartetto Italiano at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole and with Hatto Beyerle of the Alban Berg Quartet.

The members of the quartet in its current formation since 2002 are: Cristiano Gualco violin, Paolo Andreoli violin, Simone Gramaglia viola, and Giovanni Scaglione cello.

The concert program includes:

  • Gian Francesco Malipiero, Quartet No. 2 “Stornelli e Ballate”
  • Guido Alberto Fano, Quartet in A minor
  • Ottorino Respighi, Quartet in D major
