From December 13 to 15, 2024, the world-renowned conductor Charles Dutoit will take the podium at La Fenice Opera House, leading the Orchestra and Chorus of Teatro La Fenice in a program that traverses centuries of musical brilliance.

The evening will open with Claude Debussy’s “Petite Suite”, beautifully orchestrated by Henri Büsser, bringing to life the delicate and evocative spirit of Debussy’s piano original. This will be followed by Franz Joseph Haydn’s Symphony No. 104 in D major, “London”, a masterpiece of the Classical era, brimming with elegance, wit, and grandeur. The concert will conclude with the powerful and emotional Symphony No. 9 in E minor, “From the New World” by Antonín Dvořák, a work inspired by American landscapes and infused with the composer’s Czech heritage.
