On December 6 and 7, 2024, the 2024-2025 Symphony Season at La Fenice Opera House begins with a stunning inaugural concert dedicated to French music. Under the baton of renowned conductor Hervé Niquet, the Orchestra and Chorus of Teatro La Fenice will explore works by Dauvergne, Méhul, and Charpentier in a performance sure to enchant music lovers.
Known as one of the foremost interpreters of French Baroque and Classical music, Hervé Niquet is a harpsichordist and the founder of the acclaimed Le Concert Spirituel, an ensemble specializing in reviving forgotten musical treasures. Joining him for this evening of exceptional music are distinguished soloists from the Opéra Royal de Versailles: Sarah Charles (soprano), Flore Royer (mezzo-soprano), Léo Guillou Keredan (tenor), Attila Varga-Tóth (tenor), and Halidou Nombre (baritone), with the Chorus Master Alfonso Caiani.
