Giovanni Andrea Zanon and Leonora Armellini, two outstanding Italian musicians, will perform at the Sale Apollinee of the Teatro La Fenice on June 18, 2023, in a concert organized in collaboration with Musikàmera.
Giovanni Andrea Zanon is a gifted violinist, born in Verona in 1990. He started playing the violin at the age of six and studied with several renowned teachers, including Giuliano Carmignola and Salvatore Accardo. He has won several international competitions, and his performances have been praised for their virtuosity and emotional depth. Zanon has collaborated with some of the world’s most renowned conductors, such as Riccardo Muti and Daniel Barenboim, and has played in prestigious venues around the world, including the Berlin Philharmonie and the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
Leonora Armellini is an accomplished pianist from Padua, born in 1992. She started playing the piano at the age of three and made her debut with an orchestra at the age of nine. She has studied with prominent musicians such as Konstantin Bogino and Lilya Zilberstein, and has won several international competitions. Her performances have been praised for their technical excellence and interpretive depth. Armellini has played in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, such as the Carnegie Hall in New York and the Musikverein in Vienna.
In the concert at the Teatro La Fenice, Zanon and Armellini will perform compositions by Ludwig van Beethoven (Sonata No. 7 op. 30 No. 2), Henryk Wieniawski (Polonaise No. 1), Johannes Brahms (Sonata No. 3 Op. 108) showcasing their exceptional musical skills and profound emotional expression.
