On Saturday 21 May and Sunday 22 May 2022, conductor Markus Stenz accompanied by tenor Peter Seiffert will give two concerts presenting works by Richard Wagner at the La Fenice theater.

Markus Stenz is a German conductor. Since 2012 he has been the principal conductor of the Radio Filharmonisch Orkest in the Netherlands and since the season 2015/16 he has been the principal guest conductor of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Since 2017 he has also been Residential Conductor with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. Previously he was Kapellmeister of the Gürzenich Orchestra in Cologne for eleven years. He has appeared in the world’s most important opera houses and international festivals and has performed with renowned orchestras.

Peter Seiffert is one of the world’s most famous tenors, and is enthusiastically celebrated by audiences and appreciated by the international press as a singer and performer.
