Even in this difficult moment, several companies from Veneto, but not only, have been called to a particular challenge by participating in an important golf competition: “36 x 36 Venice Golf Challenge”. Composed by 4 non-professional players, the corporate teams faced each other in two days of golf on 18-hole courses, in full compliance with the regulations for the containment of the coronavirus spread.
The first day of competition took place on Friday 16th October 2020 at the “Villa Condulmer Golf Club” in Mogliano Veneto on a course designed by John Harris and Marco Croze. On Saturday 17th October 2020 the competition continued at “Ca’ Della Nave Golf Club” in Martellago designed by Arnold Palmer. The two golf clubs are located a few kilometers from Venice and it was a unique opportunity to play on two beautiful courses and discover the city, its charm, its history, its “cicchetti” accompanied by an excellent glass of prosecco. Just an alternative weekend.
A “Golf & Business” business forum was also held at “Ca’ Della Nave” to analyze the current economic scenario with the deputy director of Radio24 Sebastiano Barisoni as speaker.
VéVé Glass contributed to the event by providing Murano glass awards for the first classified teams of all categories. The company thanks all the participants and the organizers for the welcome received and looks forward to collaborate again in the future.
