Now in its thirteenth edition, Venice Design Week is the festival dedicated to design held in Venice from October 1 to 9, 2022. Internationally recognized, the event was established in 2010 with the aim of creating synergies in the design field with the fabric of the city. Over the years it has become an unmissable opportunity for connection and dialogue between established and emerging designers, international companies, artisans, architects and a curious and passionate public.
For more than a week Venice comes alive with exhibitions, conferences and meetings, competitions, workshops and guided tours that take place in a unique setting, full of history and contemporaneity, in a continuous exchange between cultures that meet and confront each other here. In symbiosis with the Venetian fabric, VDW is a widespread event, winding its way through calli and campielli, private galleries and museums, artists’ homes and studios, stores and workshops. In addition to engaging a specialized audience, it also attracts those who love design and enjoy learning about a hidden Venice.
